According to Counterpoint's Q3 2020 smartphone shipment report in November, young brand realme became the world’s fastest brand to hit 50million shipments since its inception. The youngster-focused and online-centric brand, realme has grown rapidly in South East Asia since it entered the market in Q4 2018. realme has expanded globally to 61 markets, such as China, India, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Europe, Russia and Africa.

realme Malaysia (JIE Communication), was incorporated in September 4th, 2018 lead by Mr. Hunter Wang, CEO of realme Malaysia. In Q3 2020, realme had become the second favourite brand among Malaysian users by recording a 50% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) growth.

 Requirements

  • Preferably students in Communications, marketing, Business, new Media, Public relations or any related field - Diploma or Degree.
  • Experience in creating/handling/planning an event and possesses knowledge in smart phones and the latest technology trends is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrable evidence of ability to generate content.
  • Excellent understanding of local communities.
  • Detail-oriented and a creative problem solver.
  • Strong project management and execution abilities.
  • Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia. Excellent Mandarin fluency is an added advantage.

 Responsibilities

  • Possess the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with realme users.
  • Responsible for day-to-day running of the community, creating the best and most engaging content for fan base whilst bringing new audiences.
  • Manage and respond to comment, feedback, enquiry and response to complaint professionally in a timely manner.
  • Capable of handling multiple concurrent tasks and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews.
  • Organise and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by immediate superior.
  • Possess the ability to identify and track relevant community metrics.
  • Organise events related to fans and community such as fans gathering, orientation with fan community.
  • Work with affiliate Marketing, Sales and Brand teams to enhance realme public relations image.
