Requirements
Candidate must possess at least Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture, Building or relevant discipline.
At least 5 year(s) of working experience as Project Engineer, preferably with a property development and involved in high rise projects.
Outstanding project management skills of having completed projects in timely and cost efficient manner.
A mature individual who is result-oriented, aggressive, committed and pro-active with good leadership qualities.
Ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and other relevant government authorities to achieve delivery objectives.
Good knowledge of budgeting, cost estimation, contract documentation and specifications, and project planning software & related tools.
Must possess a high level of dedication towards works.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
Responsibilities
To assist and support the project manager in planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the works.
Working closely with the site personnel, provide the direction and guidance to them in the implementation and completion of projects within the budgeted cost and delivery timeline.
To ensure all works carried out in accordance to the specifications, construction plan, procedures and work instructions.
Handling of technical and engineering problems.
Liaison with relevant authorities and consultants in order to obtain approvals.
Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.
Review consultants?ˉ design and implement value engineering wherever possible.
Attend and coordinate all site matters with various contractors, consultants and relevant authorities (technical or non-technical).
Monitor progress of the construction site to meet targets of every stage of completion.
Carry out Joint Inspection on incoming, in process and final inspection with consultant representatives in accordance with contract specification / drawings / inspection and test plan.
